| ??EMTA? was established on 27.01.1970. ??EMTA? products are generally used in Machining and Automotive Industries. The capacity of Melt Shop 150.000 mtons per year, Rolling Mills 200.000 mtons per year. ??EMTA? production consists of two main units: MELT SHOP which consist of EBT Type Electric Arc Furnace, Ladle Furnace, Vacuum Degassing Unit, Wire Injection Unit, Continuous Casting Machine. Scrap steel is melted in EBT type Electric Arc Furnace, and treated in Ladle Furnace and de-gassed in Vacuum Degassing Units. After Wire Injection continuously casted in a latest design Continuous Casting Machine and high quality billets of sizes from 100 by 100 to 160. TYPE OF STEELS PRODUCED : 220 types of different quality steels produced like Structural Steels, Carbon Tool and Bearing Steels, Carbon Steels, Boron Steels, Quenching and Tempering Steels, Cold Heading Steels, Spring Steels, Free Cutting Steels, Induction Hardening Steels, Micro Alloyed (HSLA) Steels, Case Hardening Steels and Stainless Steels. ROLLING MILLS which consist of Walking Hearth Reheating Furnace, Rotating Head Descaling Unit, 3 High Open Type 3 Stands Rolling Mills, Descaling Unit, 6 Continuous Stands, Cooling Bed, Abrasive Cutting Machine and Cold Shear. 1000 different sizes in different sections produced: 15 ?V 110 mm Round Bars of which 15-80 mm are Surface Crack and Ultrasonic Inner Crack Tested for forging or machining purposes

Squares, Hexagonals and peeled rolled bars, Conditioning Lines for round bars are equipped with Shot Blasting, Straightening Machine, Surface Crack Test, Ultrasonic Inspection, 100 % Control with Mobile Spectrometer. Round bars for hot forging purpose especially for Automotive Industry treated in conditioning lines, comprising of shot blasting, precise straightening, controlling inner and surface defects, and mobile spectrometer. In year 2003 ??emta? was found to have quality management system which fulfils the requirements of the TS EN ISO 9001:2000 version. ??EMTA? quality system ISO/TS 16949 : 2002 was certified by RWT??V-Germany in 2005, ??EMTA? has been certified by the Institute of Turkish Standarts in July 2007 with Environmental Management System Certificate TS EN ISO 14001 and Occupational Health And Safety Management System TSE ISG-OHSAS TS 18001.
